“A Father's Legacy” explores just that...what it means to be a father. And what it is to be a son. It's a deeply rooted authentic story of two men who are both in search of something. And that story plays out with a driving and grounded score that's rooted in the southern roots of the story. I'm so thankful for Jeffery Alan Jones' collaboration on this very personal story to me. I think he truly created a score that's undeniably unique, and I hope as you listen it offers a chance to reflect on your own legacies and what you are leaving behind for others.

“A Father's Legacy” is an honest and meaningful journey for both a father and a son. The story and imagery deeply inspired me. Set in a beautiful southern backdrop, I scored the film with rich ambient textures, percussion, guitars, and harmonica. With such unique instrumentation, I kept the score minimal. I highlighted the dark and tender moments with varying degrees of musical color, allowing the score to evolve with both the father and son as they both discover their legacy.
