An unemployed village drunk accepts a postman position and ventures into the remote villages of Nepal. In his journey, he must face the challenges and responsibilities of his new job while confronting the personal demons of his past.

Halkara holds a very special place in my heart. When director Bikram Sapkota invited me to join the project, he asked me to help to tell the story of Halkara through music. From the very beginning, I fell in love with both the powerful narrative and the impressive level of production. Alongside music supervisor Ryan Gottshall, we dedicated countless hours to spotting sessions, paying close attention to every detail of the story to translate it into the score for Halkara. This soundtrack aims to convey the essence of the story through music, although to be fully appreciated, it should be experienced alongside the film. Both elements complement each other and together constitute the integrity of the story.
