Cinema must be listened to... not just watched!

Cinema, from the very beginning, acquires artistic value in 80% of cases (if not even 90%) thanks to Music. Because the Visual is first of all narrated by the Notes that have always expressed the 'unsaid' of images. So Cinema must first of all be played to be understood viscerally and then, in its entirety, scripted, acted, directed, photographed, set designed, soundly and effectually curated and handcrafted. Without an original score, many of the films we know and love would not be such, and would not leave that indelible imprint in our cinephile memory even after many years of viewing in theaters (or at home). In this album, in fact, the 'Cinema' is 'Played' – hence the magnificent title of the same – by excellent and virtuoso musicians of a chamber orchestra created for the time by the conductor and composer Marco Fedalto, on the podium of the same, author of all the orchestrations yes respect  Yes, respectful of the primordial thematic form, yet with a richly imaginative and illuminating creative imprint, and of some of the pieces in the setlist with an accurate and underlining performance of every melodic choice made on the footage by the original composer, and wonderfully alive outside of it. The album is an excellent jumble of single themes and suites, taken from films of yesterday and today, by names of the caliber of Nino Rota, Ennio Morricone, Henry Mancini, Pietro Mascagni, Yann Tiersen and Fedalto himself.
